Level of Care
Talk to A Private Practitioner
When it comes to our physical health, we expect the highest level of care from health care practitioners. When it comes to our emotional health, we expect the same thing.
As a psychologist who has lived and practiced in Ponte Vedra Beach for over 17 years, I have done my best to meet these high standards of care:
Privacy. Confidential service in a comfortable, private practice setting. (Dr. Garamoni is in practice by himself--you won’t be bumping into a neighbor as you might in the busy waiting area of a large group practice.)
Experience. You’ll be seen by a highly experienced, well-qualified clinical psychologist who earned a doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology and trained at preeminent psychiatric centers.
Convenience. A short drive to a nearby office tucked away in Sawgrass Village. Day and evening appointments available.
Trustworthiness. Dependable care from a reputable, well-established practice. No history of any disciplinary actions (see PsychSearch and Florida Department of Health).
Personal Attention. Prompt, unhurried service with individualized treatment, attention and care.
Affordability. Insurance accepted and filed. Credit card and extended payment options available.
Effectiveness. An evidence-based practice in which a scientist-practitioner works closely with you to select the most effective treatment based on the best available scientific evidence, his 27 years of clinical experience, and your own personal characteristics, situation, and preferences.
In striving to meet these standards of care, I am guided by the overarching principle that supporting the well-being of my clients is the top priority in my practice. I realize that the decision to seek counseling or therapy is one of the most important decisions people ever make. I understand that people are looking for genuine solutions to their problems, that they want to feel better as soon as possible, and that they want the benefits of therapy to last long after treatment is completed. I recognize that people are investing their time, energy, money--and trust--in going through therapy, and that they have a right to want some significant improvement in their lives in return for their investment. I gladly accept this responsibility, and I promise to help my clients address their problems with a serious-minded and warmly engaging approach to therapy.
